Landscapers( HOONIDA Kim + TANIGUCHI Akihiko ) 2008
이 작업은 TANIGUCHI Akihiko와 공동 작품이다. OpenGL로 그려진 3차원 공간에 한국과 일본의 도시 풍경의 사진과 그 안에서 필드 레코딩한 사운드 파일을 하나의 객체로 공간에 배치하여 콜라주와 같은 사운드스케이프를 구성해 나가는 작품이다. 이때 프로그램으로 만들어진 3D 공간에 일상의 풍경과 같은 잡다한 이미지를 배치해 나간다. 우리가 마치 가상공간에 “정원사” 처럼 객체들을 배치해가면서 실시간 퍼포먼스한 작업이다.
This work is a collaboration with TANIGUCHI Akihiko. It is a work that composes a collage-like soundscape by arranging photos of Korean and Japanese urban landscapes and field-recorded sound files in the space as a single object in a three-dimensional space drawn with OpenGL. At this time, miscellaneous images such as everyday landscapes are arranged in the 3D space created by the program. This is a real-time performance work where we arrange objects like a “gardener” in a virtual space.
